Turning Point has had nearly 20 years of providing quality behavioral healthcare services. From the diseases of alcoholism and other chemical addictions, to the psychiatric disorders of depression, schizophrenia, paranoia, post traumatic shock disorder (PTSD) and the like, Turning Point has earned the reputation for providing patient centered, cost effective treatment programs.  It is for this reason over 20 percent of our referrals for treatment are made by our former patients.

Turning Point has endured while so many other facilities have faded away because we follow a simple premise . . . to provide “continuous improvement in measurable ways”.    That is, we continually monitor the needs of all our clients, develop programs to satisfy those needs, and through self-assessments and independent surveys, evaluate our success while making program adjustments as they are needed.

We are unique in other ways:

·       Turning Point is one of the few facilities that specializes in the treatment of the dually-diagnosed client (alcohol/chemical dependency and psychiatric).

·       We have the flexibility to develop treatment programs geared to providing treatment to under-served populations, such as those who are dialysis dependent and suffer from alcohol/chemical dependency.

·       At Turning Point no patient is denied continued treatment due to limited insurance coverage or the lack of other financial resources.

·       Our “in residence” partial hospitalization program provides a more controlled treatment environment than outpatient programs and at a much lower cost than inpatient treatment.

·       Turning Point has been “Accredited with Commendation” by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) for two consecutive terms.

·       We are Medicare and CHAMPUS/Tricare (CHAMP/VA) certified and accept most commercial insurance.

·       Turning Point provides free patient transportation as appropriate.
